The whole school had great fun during Maths Week predicting 'How Heavy' and 'How Many'. Everyone had the opportunity to use maths language to guess the weight of pumpkins and how many biscuits in a jar. There were lots of great predictions and lots of very happy winners. Classrooms throughout the school were playing games, creating maths jokes, weighing, measuring, counting and sorting. In Home Economics some pupils measured and counted the amount of sugar in some popular breakfast cereals-with some shocking results! Proving that maths is everywhere and maths is fun !!!
