Our Home Economics room is bright and spacious and is equipped with 6 workstations each containing a height adjustable workbench, a ceramic hob, an oven, a sink unit with presses and drawers.  

In Home Economics class pupils learn about the benefits of a healthy diet and lifestyle and during practical lessons they prepare a range of healthy snacks/meals. 

There is also an opportunity for some pupils to achieve certification by completing a Home Economics Short Course at Junior Cycle Level 2 and QQI level 3 Food and Nutrition.
